I think I'm going to have steamed broccoli with some sauteed mushrooms. I
may toss a little shredded cheese on the broccoli, too.

Shoots, while my mind is on food, I should think about what I'm going to
defrost for dinner for TFM® tonight. My guess is chicken. I think I'll
just have a salad with homemade balsamic vinaigrette dressing.

Our local favorite produce store is having a re-grand opening party today
with 20% off of their already reduced produce so I can buy all kinds of
little goodies for my salad. Yum!

kili,

I'd rather buy you two BUMS!!! breakfast somewhere in Florida. MUST include
all-you-can-eat biscuits and gravy! Plus your favorite delicacies also!

Best,

Andy

Awwwww, my favorite delicacies would be broccoli & mushrooms right now.
Oooh, I also have fresh cauliflower.

I'm pretty much a vegetarian - no biscuits and gravy for me, but you can
have all you want! :~)

Modified cheesecake makes a good LC breakfast.

I decided I needed nutrients, so I had an Indian mushroom-pea
concoction, with added veggies and paneer. Two coffees, and now
the oh-so-necessary square of dark chocolate.

What percent dark chocolate? I'm an 85% cocoa dark chocolate fan!

Nods to the rest of breakfast!

Chocolates vary so much! Sometimes a 60-something percent can
taste darker than an 85-percent! This one happened to be a mere
63 percent--which, strangely enough, has more flavor than the 71
percent version made by the same company. These are Dove (a store
was discontinuing them, and they were REALLY cheap). I have many
brands here though....

So what kind is that 85 percent?

Jean B,

I don't have a wrapper handy. It's found... hold on...

http://tinyurl.com/4v8twy is what Trader Joes sells.

Jean B,

I've only tasted their 85% dark chocolate offering. Not familiar with their
others.

I had a banana nut muffin and some coffee. I have to go out and buy
Ellie a new leotard now, as she has ballet today, and she seems to have
misplaced the one my mom bought...

Also, some cumin, as I have less than a teaspoon left, and making
enchiladas will use that up.

I had quiche for breakfast this morning (Sunday). My wife goes to these
all day meetings twice a year. She brings the drinks, which is pretty
easy. Another guy brings lunch. He is a terrific cook and brings
wonderful food, and lots of it. I look forward to her coming home with
leftovers. So yesterday she came home, and I asked, and she said she
brought home a little bit, some quiche. So my wife is gone all day
today and she suggests I have some quiche. So I open it up and it's a
whole quiche!
