You've made 138 posts in the week prior to that period. That's 10%
of the number you quoted, or 4% of the total posts in a given 3 day
period. That would mean there's only about 23 other people posting
here if they were to all make 4% of the posts.

The point is, that I'm roasting a whole chicken stuffed with
couscous, croutons, chopped and sautéed musgovian veggies and some
bacon-sausage.

much higher then the mean number of posts by a single person here in

To quote my new best friend (heh) steve wertz, "...Says the hypocrite who's
made 58 posts in the last week, which is
much higher then the mean number of posts by a single person here in any
given week."

I don't count anyone's number of posts nor do I create spreadsheets tallying
the results. I do recognize when I see someone's name pop up a lot and
yours is one of them. Come to think of it, so is Om's since she started
posting again. I'm not really sure why she's surprised.

Not really. ;-)

It's why I'd dropped the group for several months. <g>
I could not keep up with that and the other lists I like to post to.

Hey. I've not posted for two days! I deleted them all unread...

I've been doing more volunteer work lately. Might be doing so every
Friday morning at the food bank. It's fun. :-)

Which will be all you're doing - guessing.

I've made 44 posts in the last week.

But I'm not the one bitching about people posting too much and
needing to get a life. I'm just pointing out the irony in those
that do.

as per my usual!

And if anyone posted to me over that period, I didn't see it. I deleted
everything as read.

BTW, posting under a different name (using two different news
servers) in defense of your other personality, "Billy", makes you a
bonafide, USDA Grade AA sock-puppet. And probably doubles the
number of posts you've made here in the last month (or more). Talk
about needing to get a life....

How many other names do/have you use(d) here over the years?
And don't lie.

Try braised short rib stew with bourbon. You may google it and add 'Emeril'
to the search.

And filtering out "Billy's" posts helps reduce the s/n ratio...

'Course you *do* know that "Billy" is still *another* one of sqwertz'
sockpuppoons, don't you...??? I've noticed he currently has like five going
on alt.food.fast-food and they are all having "conversations" with each
other...

Sorry - I can't stand bourbon. I seared them, then used beef stock,
dry sherry, onion, celery garlic, sun-dried tomato paste, and dried
mushroom pieces. Smells great. Will de-fat (mostly) and whiz up
the braising liquid to make gravy, making a quick ruox out of some
of the fat to thicken it up.

Steve, short ribsd are one of my favorites, I cook them slowly with
onions, the chop the meat, make yellow rice and black beans.. Very
very good. Mix it all together and just enjoy.

Yes, you did! Oh, you really liked those assorted yummies (but you
