Default Roasting a fresh ham

Help. I want to roast a 6 1/4 lb butt half of fresh ham (not a
cured ham) and don't know how long it will take, I figure at either
325 or 350 degrees and each cookbook or reference I look at gives
widely varying times. TIA..Allan

These are the directions I have always followed, Allan...

Roast uncovered at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Baste frequently with pan
juices. Turn meat skin side up and roast until done.

Roasting time is about 4 1/2 hours for a 5 pound ham, from the time the
meat is put in the oven. Roasting time is 25 minutes per pound, so adjust
time the weight you have, or roast to 185 degrees on a meat thermometer.
Baste often with pan juices.
