Default Asparagus "pee"

People who eat asparagus produce methyl mercaptan in their urine and
that produces a horrible smell whilst urinating. Although, strangely,
some people genetically can't smell it.

Can you smell the methyl mercaptan after eating asparagus?

You have to ask Chatty Cathy, she's in charge of all surveys. And I'm
pretty sure we did urine analysis, everyone already sniffed my pee.

Yes, and you most likely can as well, regardless of your geographic
location.

It's funny how this thread seems to pop up annually, but generally
during asparagus season which is long past at the moment. ;-)

Yes, I can smell it.

Might make an interesting poll.

I can. Always good advice, eschew asparagus if out on a promising date.

Heh. I don't think anyone but Corey, Sheryl or Mothra cares about whether
or not anyone smells their own pee.

<grins> You are probably right. :-)

The reek of asparagus pee however takes no "effort" for those that can
detect the odor. Just run the bathroom fan.

It won't stop me from eating asparagus tho'. <g> I love the stuff and
that side effect only lasts a few hours.

It was a poll on 3/12/2008.

We certainly can't expect our pet troll Cory to know this since he
only reads his own posts.

I have to explain everything. Oral sex. OK, oral sex. And in case you

Must be a 'mercan if he writes the date the wrong way around. Probably meant
12/03/2008.

That's an exception as it's a rather special date. It's known as "9/11"
just about everywhere, regardless of the way they write dates.

Oh, you were trying to be cute by implying that RFC should adopt
the Europeeing date format.

How quaint.

And they bombed the London underground on 7/7/2005 just so y'all
wouldn't get confused.

Sorry, but Corey is one of "yours". But, in the interest of international
equality, we'll keep Jerry. That is a major concession and sacrifice in the
name of world peace. You're welcome. ;-)

I'm afraid you are going to have to explain this one, Paul. I just
don't understand. Are you saying that your idea of oral sex involves
somebody peeing in somebody else's mouth?

And the reference to a hot tub doesn't make any sense at all to me.
What does that have to do with either oral sex or peeing?
