Years ago when I just lurked here there was a rather heated argument
about top posting and several people claimed it was right and they
weren't going to stop. I KF'd all of them and judging by what I saw
quoted I didn't miss much.

Hey, I resent that!
I have fond memories of my first "personal computer" - an ASR-33,
acoustic modem, and Tymshare account.
That was also about the time I had my first ARPANet login. Seems like a
century ago!
