butter cookies

I've been for the longest time trying to remember a simple recipe for
butter cookies. As I recall, butter, sugar, eggs and flour or something
like that.

Now, I tried this simple thing and it was a BOMB!
This kind of cookie is soooo good. Very plain but with that "home made"
taste. Please if anyone knows I'd appreciate a reply.
Sincerely, hopeful.

Butter/sugar cookie recipes are plentiful, but technique is the key. How are
you mixing. handling, shaping, and baking the dough?

Well, Shortbread is just flour, butter and sugar...

and they are one of my persona #1 favorite cookies!
