i haven't initiated any posts (well, maybe one or two). yes i will respond
when someone posts something that's blatantly false. and i have never said
anything about hating capitalism.

yes, i do hate bush, because he lied to the country to start a war that
killed hundreds of thousands of people and cost the u.s hundreds of
billions of dollars. that's not 'irrational.'

returning to clinton's tax rate is batshit? i'd say calling it
'marxist' is batshit.

The fact is, you're right and you know it, and so you continue the debate,
waiting in good faith for people like "Lou" and Om to concede points they
never, every will. Or at least to refute with some semblance of a valid
argument based upon real evidence. It will not happen. They simply resort to
the "ad hominem" shit they accuse Obama supporters of resorting to when they
cannot hold up their end of the debate.

Honestly, you might as well say "**** you" and kill file them, as I do,
after having my say. You can't win. As long as you continue to demonstrate
how ****ed their thinking is, you are the enemy. There's no "online
friendship" with turds like this. You can be as fair as can be, but they
never will. By arguing cogently and effectively, you inspire nothing but
bitterness. Because they cannot. "Lou" here doesn't even get that "I have
more money than you do" is not a cogent argument.

You don't "killfile" anyone, cyberpussie, you've been caught again and again
in that particular li'l lie...

And you and blake couldn't imagine this group without some "enemies" with
which to engage...particularly in your case since your piggybacking on
blake's posts is your vicarious "frisson" of the day (natcherly one need not
add that you've not an original thought in yer noggin...)...I mean don't you
have a *husband* to be with or...??? If so, one has to feel sorry for the
poor dope...

Milton Friedman was a liberal economist. Most economists trained in modern
schools are liberal economists. They may not be what USAians refer to as
"liberals", but that is not an appropriate moniker anyway.

Liberals nowadays call themselves conservatives and true conservatives,
should you be able to find any, would find their shenanigans appalling.

Here is a simple test. Ask yourself whether Milton Friedman, or George W.
Bush, or "Who wants to go through life being called a" Dick Cheney will
deny the necessity of improving society at the expense of the economy. If
the answer is yes, then they are liberals in economics.

I don't see Blake enjoying enemies. I've only seem him attack when

Yup...and I'll try being *nice* to blake and try to refrain from any
political baiting of him...it got to be pretty silly after awhiles.

The election is over and I am happy for everyone that's happy, time to move
on. It was nice to see the Obamas being welcomed by the Bushes at the WH
today in a cordial manner, hope it bodes well for the future.

It was nice to see. Hopefully their actions were genuine. I'm sure
