Heya all,
I was just perusing the food blogs I read, and came across this. Turns out, that several food bloggers are doing a 12 days of Cookies baking extravaganza...and they are making cookies from this article from Gourmet: http://www.gourmet.com/recipes/cookies To see the years of cookies, click on Skip the Intro. Well.I was perusing the cookies, trying to get ideas for cookies to make if I go to this cookie exchange, and what did I come across? This recipe from the year 1950: http://www.gourmet.com/recipes/1950s...ocolate-wafers I know several of you have been asking about chocolate wafers, and at least from the picture, they look just like the Nabisco chocolate wafers. Lots of great cookies there, and I am only on the 2nd decade of cookies!! Christine |
