Panna Cotta disaster
Last week I made Panna Cotta and the recipe didn't set properly because
the recipe had the wrong amount of gelatin. I had a surplus of mil today and decided to to use some of it up by trying another batch..... with more gelatin. The recipe said to add some flavour, and since I like cherries and had a jug of sour cherry concentrate I thought I would try that. Don't do it!!!! It immediately curdled into a horrible mess. I already had the gelatin softened, so I heated up some more milk and made it a plain version to be garnished with fresh fruit. It was delicious. |
