Damn! I love the smell of bacon, but I don't want to go around
smelling like it! Who the heck thought of that?

Sorry, but EW.

I've made bath salts and prefer things like Frankincense or rose, or
sandalwood.

Sounds like some kind of torture. Pour it on someone
and tie them to a tree in grizzly bear country.

I haven't looked for it in the stores, I just saw it on some
tv show. I'd love to know if it's any good.

OH, this is so funny! As much as I make and enjoy bacon, I agree with
Dams, no way would I ever want to smell like bacon!

Yep, I was thinking it would be good on tomato sandwiches. Hmmm, how about making
homemade mayo using bacon grease for part of the oil, and adding some liquid smoke...

(straight bacon grease mayo would feel too greasy on the palate)

That does look interesting...

I've been buying bacon ranch dressing, and recently made some that was
even better.

Take 2 pints of sour cream (regular or low fat), add one packet of
Hidden Valley Ranch dressing powder and to that, add one jar of Hormel
real bacon bits.

Mix well.

Enjoy. ;-d

Makes a good dip or dressing.

I hear that. But the ingredients list shows no bacon, nor even any
meat: http://www.jdfoods.net/images/shop/nutrition-bnaise.gif

It DOES have its share of gluconic acid, microcrystalline cellulose,
xanthan gum, guar gum, gum arabic, cellulose gel, and tocopherols.

Haha! That's funny. I found myself in a pet boarding place
today and while it appeared to be quite clean, it smelled
of animal. Imagine my surprise when I noticed there was
a small pot-bellied pig wandering around behind the counter.
Very cute and mischievous.

But ... Lipstick could have used some of those bath salts.

nutritional info makes it look like it is mayo with paprika and liquid
smoke...so make some.
