When I saw the brand "Krusteaz" it rang a bell and I thought I recalled
someone here mentioning it. I tried it, and it is GREAT! All you do is add water, they're whole wheat, they turn out thin and light with crispy edges and there's 4 grams of fiber in a serving. The problem is eating only a serving.... |

My neice's husband turned me on to Krusteaz crumb cake. It's too sweet, really, but great when you'd like fresh coffee cake on the spur of the moment and aren't in the mood for a big production. |

Yes, their Honey Wheat is very good. I like their muffin mixes that have canned blueberries and whatnot included when I'm camping in my camper. Nice to have fresh baked muffins with a minimum of fuss in a small camper. |

I keep a giant bag on hand. It's also good for waffles (add an egg & a little oil). Use a round Ziploc as a shaker to make a small batch. Dimitri |

Will be trying them. Let me know what you think! I made the batter on the thin side, had the heat on medium, got the bit of oil pretty hot before I cooked them. |

Hodgson Mills has a whole wheat baking mix, like a healthier Bisquick, that
I've used on camping trips and the like. I don't know how it would compare to the Krusteaz version, but it's good. |
