Eggnog Latte - Great for a snowy winter night in Chicago!
http://bakedchicago.typepad.com 3 eggs, slightly beaten 2 cups whole milk 1 cup whipping cream 1/2 cup coffee liqueur 2 tablespoons honey 1 tablespoon instant espresso coffee powder ground cinnamon and whipping cream, for garnish 8 long cinnamon sticks for stirring In heavy saucepan, stir eggs, milk, whipping cream, coffee liqueur, honey and espresso coffee powder. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture coats a metal spoon. DO NOT let it boil. Pour eggnog mixture into coffee mugs. Sprinkle each with some ground cinnamon and whipped cream. Insert cinnamon sticks. Serve while hot. |

Boston is the home of baked beans in America.
The Windy City is Chicago (where I am from) and was born out of a reference to politicians around the time of the World's Fair in Chicago and their propensity for talking and blowing lots of hot air. Baked Chicago is just a play on the term Baked Alaska. I like to bake and I'm from Chicago. The wood heater is on (with a nice lamb and venison stew simmering away on top). Australia is a big country, and doesnt begin or end with Queensland. |
