Grin, I dont mind that many don't use their real name (as long as a

Also, like apparently you, I don't mung my email address. Thats been a nice
thing actually as I've found some new friends that way. Ken (last name his
own business) and I have been passing breadmachine recipes after I posted to
his one query here, with a rye recipe. He's since emailed for several
others, last just yesterday.

He's got a new breadmaker and is having fun making bread every week or so.
Prefers tried and true recipes to books and appreciates that I can show the
tips and tricks for the 'Breadman Ultimate' (he has the Ultie, I have the
Ultie plus with the dry goods adder side slot I never use). I just followed
up a recipe I sent him yesterday, after making it last night, with a
specific to the machine we have and how to adapt if using a different flour
than the 'better for bread' (breadmaker machine stuff) with a bit of gluten
(2 TS for that particular recipe suggested).

Agreed. In a high traffic group, many got confused and then embarassed when
they found out there were responding to the fake guy with the @gmail
address.

I see the real Peter in some other groups where I am mostly a silent reader,
and he's quite a decent fellow for the most part. Consistant wording too.
The only reason I say 'the most part' is he gets a little frustrated here
and sometimes lashes back. Thats human nature, and understandable.

I had some electro-grilled chuck strips and some shrimp served with
butter dip.

Celene got most of the beef... Can't resist those big golden eyes. She
has some health problems so I will give her anything she is willing to
actually EAT to put some weight back on her. :-( She's one of my
favorite cats. One that mom and I hand-raised from about 1 week of age.

Iirc, she's about 12 years old now. She has two siblings, Gandalf and
Isis that are in better health...

Understood. Few here have my home address, nor do they need it. It's too
bad we didnt know each other last time I was in your area. I spent a
largely bored and lonely time many of the hours in Brisbane. It would have
been good to share a beer with you and wileaway a few hours at some local
watering hole you like. Would have only needed the address of the watering
hole and a local taxi number to meet up, or you to want to meet at my hotel
and know which it was.

I used to react. Not now. I'm in a 'happy place'. It's water off a ducks

These 'people' have been stalking me for years.... I have had to move
house and change ISP's, phone numbers etc. I have had court cases over it.

I dislike a *lot* of people though :-)

In my opinion, 'hate' is a term that is bandied about too flippantly.

Most people nowadays wouldn't be able to discern the line between dislike,
and hate. So they use the word 'hate'...... because it has less letters
for them to spell.

Most people have never seen real hatred.

I used to react. Not now. I'm in a 'happy place'. It's water off a ducks
back.

But..... I *don't* laugh it off.

These 'people' have been stalking me for years.... I have had to move
house and change ISP's, phone numbers etc. I have had court cases over it.

It's *not* a laughing matter.


But....... try as they might....... the stalkers can't find me. Their
information on me is about 3 years old, and a world away.

Which is what ****es them off........ BIG TIME!!!!

I'm relaxed, my SO is relaxed (Oh!! I forgot to mention........ when their
stalking failed to find me, they stalked *her*, hoping to find me through
her.)

I have a large dog that likes to bite people (she's even bitten a
Policeman!!), and my neighbours quite like having me (and the pooch)
around.

As a visitor to our shores, it would have been our duty as good Ambassadors
for Queensland, to come pick you up and show you the sights.... if we both
had the time!!

My BIL just called. He's now in Brisbane for the holiday season..... and
wants to catch up at the winery (Sirromet) that we took him to last time he
was up here. I think he liked the food there :-P

I used to do the bread machine thing (back when we had 4 growing kids at
home!!), but now it's just as easy, more convenient, and more cost
effective to go to my local bakery.

We don't go through that much bread anyways....... now that we are DINK's
:-)

Figured so. I'm not too paranoid. I know Big Bazz's to (but won't list it
here) as we are old time friends from Fidonet. I'm still doing Fido but
he's moved on.

Mine tends to use the black lists and spam filters. Not perfectly and they
dont touch newsgroups with them, but they filter down the really obvious
stuff from email and will block a site if there starts to be a problem.

2007, I misrecall the month now, someplace between March and late May seems

Break between sailing and doing training with the OZ Navy. We annually do
something up around Timor (training and aide). Been to Darwin so many
times, I've lost count but can describe the layout easily by memory ;-)
Kitty O'Sheas is the best quiet watering hole.

Heheh there is that! I'm on shore duty now and final bit, pending
retirement in 2 months. Traveling days probably over.

Yeah, saw some new ones today. Lemonade or something like that looked
suspicious but may not be.

I do it twice a week roughly. Mostly just simple white types for samwiches
and such.

You mixed up your attributes. He doesnt say he doesnt have a car, that is
me above with the taxi when I was in OZ. Foot or taxi is how we get about
when in a foriegn port. (oh and Singapore/Hong Hong with the great trolley
systems).
