Thank you, dear. I have the strength of 1000 oxen. I will make it through
this ordeal, but I won't like it.

To talk to me on the phone it would be difficult to discern that I have an
IQ of 146.
I'd like to set up a meeting with you in person so we can discuss our
differences. How does Florida sound to you this time of year?

I'll have some good beer, and some *very* good wine for her.

Don't know if I'll be able to do any whiskey shots for Allan though :-)

That's good. I'd probably end up on the floor if I started on the whiskey
after the beer and the wine!!

Virtually everything Mucas accuses others of, he has done himself.
One possible exception is the direct forgeries notable in this group.

I'm not aware of Mucus having done that to others - although I *do*
suspect him of forging his *own* posts here.
It would be right up his alley to do that...

But back to your comment:

He is the worst online stalker I've personally come across.

If there is *anything* available online about you, or if he *thinks* it
relates to you - you can guarantee he *will* post it.

He'll also take it into the real world, if you are in reach of him.
Several Australians can attest to that. Although never, ever directly...
he invariably take the cowards approach.

Unless you're a woman, or he is confident that you pose no physical
threat to him.... then you really do need to take him very seriously.
Now, for someone who harps on about stalkers... well, it's a bit rich to
hear it come from his mouth!

A couple of years ago I laid a number of rather esoteric (and
intentionally misleading) info traps for Mucus online relating to my
wherabouts, emplyment etc. NOT on Usenet either. He found all but two of
them within a week or two, and when he did, naturally he couldnt contain
himself
Now, for somebody who harps on continually about "stalkers"...

> You're hardly innocent Peter. You beg for this shit.

Damned right he begs for it.

> And we have to put up with it.

Yes, you do have to put up with it. That said, 'we' could all go away
('we' being 3 to 5 people, so far as I can tell) but others would only
take out place, one way or the other.

Find me a group Mucus has frequented where these flame wars don't
happen... Good luck, because you'll need it

I wish I could help make your journey easier, Allan. This is a
difficult time. I know you feel a certain amount of guilt, but you
need to remember what her wishes and feel peace with that.

Yep.

But in Mucus's case - I don't bloody think so. I choose NOT to filter his
posts. Anyone else, sure... although I rarely use filters on Usenet
anyway.

He's threatened me with real physical harm for years, tried everything at
his disposal to identify me, locate my residential address, tried to get
to me through my employment (although I have no plans to sack myself .
All that sort of good stuff. Yep, thats Peter "I hate stalkers" Lucas for
you.

There is no way I'm going to let him sail away into the sunset now just
because somebody has given him an ultimatum to behave like a normal human
being (guess who).

I'm never going to leave him alone, not at least until I can actually
confront him somewhere he can't run away from. Any turd who genuinely
threatens my person repeatedly for years won't find me forgiving or
forgetting.

> Peter is just like you and me. He speaks his mind.

That's not the problem for many of us - merely speaking his mind would be
fine. The problem is that he always tries to take things beyond Usenet,
*if* he can do so.

And you describe your 'enemies' as "pathetic".
The fact that you're blind to how "pathetic" that childish assertion of
yours in the above paragraph speaks volumes. Keep up the good work
pete...

And regarding this mystical "Kirkland" character of yours...
If and when the real Mr Kirkland discovers all your filthy, sick bile...
I sincerely hope he's ****ed off enough to take legal proceedings against
you.

Is it stupidity or dumb bravado that compels you to post from the server
on your ISP's network?

Unless you're leeching from somebody's unsecured wireless AP, you do
realise you can be held accountable to these posts of yours?

Too late to cancel them pete... theyre out in the wild now

Honey, I do it with peace. If there were a doubt in my mind, I'd pause and
let them torture her more.

There is no doubt in my mind.

I will let her pass from this realm.

That sort of thing happened to me too (not this year) - with $900 in
my wallet. I got a "call" over the intercom at Macy's because I'd
left my purse in a changing room. Boy did I feel stooopid - and
grateful that it was found by an employee.

I was such a dumbnut that it didn't occurred to me at the time to give
the person who turned it in a "reward". I was truly numb at the time
and my mind wasn't working properly other than me gushing "thank you".
I regret not shoving some reward money into the hand of the person who
found it to this day.... In retrospect, the person who found it
wasn't present when I answered the call and I remember them
downplaying calling me (policy etc), but everyone knows the scenario
could have been vastly different.

I'm still grateful and still wishing I'd had the opportunity and
presence of mind to do it differently.

Here's a real Christmas present: Yes, you *can* find honest people -
even in a big city.

Yeah, right. He called me. I don't care if he called you but I seriously
doubt he did.

You self-centered, self-important ........

This is about our FRIEND, not about who is highest in some bleeped-up
social heirarchy which exists only in your pea-brain.

My heart is breaking right now. I don't need your narcissistic crap.

I'm glad you understood her wishes and the value of dying with
dignity. Your sorrow is my sorrow and I'm crying with you.

Please email me any time (unmunge it). I'm not going anywhere.

These petty grievances are why I left this ******** of a group the first
time.
To set the record straight, I didn't call Carol, she called me.

I answered and we had a long discussion.
Jill called while I was at the hospital, I didn't recognize the number and
didn't answer. I called back when I got home.

Can you folks attempt to keep this discussion civil?

Much agreement.

This is not a movie or book, this is real life. You, Michael and
Peter give us daily updates because more people than the "private"
email group truly *care* about Christy and her progression.

Can we stop this now?
Tomorrow is Christmas eve and I have to have a discussion with doctors
concerning Christy's demise.

Please, love one another. Try to get along.

This is Usenet, it was *never* the right place for this type of
discussion to take place. The reasons are self-evident and wouldnt matter
*who* participates in the thread(s) concerned. The outcome would still be
the same. Its in poor taste.

They need their white knight, Sir Peter Loser, to come galloping to
their rescue, the poor demented souls.
But Sir Peter is nowhere to be found.
He is off getting stonkered with his wench at a pensioners 'knees up.'

That is true.
Shows just how some people can become addicted to an inanimate media
like usenet.
(eg. Peter Lucas's minuscule mind has been occupied with usenet for 15
years)

For how long do you "know" Christy/Kili and Allan/TFM? How long have you

Look Allen, if I lived close to you I would not dare to say the things
that I have said in my posts to the group.
Then again if I knew you in person I probably would be distraught with
grief, which is exactly why a fool only takes things to heart on
usenet.
Anyway Allen, I emphasis with you as I have been through the same
thing after my son was hit by a car.
Believing work would help me forget, I threw myself into my job.
All I succeded in doing was to become a pain in the ass.
Eventually people went out of their way to avoid me, especially people
who had teenagers.
I have got used to having perpetual tears, but life has gone on for
the sake of my other children.
I feel your pain.

To make a post like this and expect to dictate how people react is idiocy. I
am talking about TFM, not you, Carol.

He's just a PL stalker from some AUS ng. He's stalking PL and his
main focus is to cause as much trouble *here* as he can. He doesn't
know Kili or TFM and he doesn't care about their circumstance. If he
was just after PL, he'd leave them out of it but he decided to drag
them into his little vendetta too. What an unsympathetic jerk.

If that were only true. Both of them are here only for themselves and can't
stand anyone else "winning". They are not alone. There is a lot more
clashing of egos here than real concern for Kili or those who love her.
It's one of the ugliest things I've seen in a place where ugliness is
regularly excused with "it's usenet" as if that means "it's Auschwitz".

Yes, this disgusts me. The grandstanding disgusts me. The swaggering
horseshit disgusts me. It's not about Kili at all.
