For a variety of reasons our gang has come to expect our traditional pre
Christmas dinner;

A do-it-yourself sandwich buffet.

This year:

Swiss
Am Cheese
Turkey
Turkey Pastrami
Pepperoni
Molinari Salami
Mortadella

Breads
Cracked wheat sour dough
Double Fiber wheat
White Bread
Rye Bread.

Mustard (3 types)
Mayo
Butter


Cole Slaw
Potato Salad

Green Leaf Lettuce
sliced tomatoes.

1/2 sour pickles
Olives
Chips & Dips

Wine beer, water, cokes Hot chocolate, tea, Herbal tea,

Damn! I wish I had known about this. I'd have been there with bells on.
:-) What a great variety to choose from.

I'm grazing on cold boiled shrimp with very hot cocktail sauce, several
different cheeses, chopped chicken livers, and crackers. Some sweet things
to follow.

We went to my son's house and had the traditional take out pizza. Gracious
host that he is, we get our choice of toppings.

Funny thing is, my son owns or is invested in a bunch of different business.
One is a pizza place, but he ordered these from another place closer to
home.

Thanks it was a bit of a struggle this year 'cause we moved away from my
favorite Italian deli.

We started this many years ago when all the grandparents and parents came to
spend Christmas eve night so they could celebrate Christmas morning with the
grandkids.
