sprouts into a pita pocket with some mayo. I had a friend/co-worker
that used to tease me about it, calling it a Chia Pet sandwich. :-)

I miss him. He was so funny. He died of metastatic colon cancer to the
liver 3 days after my mom died... <sigh> Very talented knife maker too.
I have about 1/2 dozen of his knives. My favorite paring knife was made
by him and has a maple handle that fits my hand perfect. The blade is
only 1 1/2" long.

I'll have to take pics of those one of these days and post them.

Another favorite knife is another 2" paring knife made with alternating
bands of burled maple and emu leg bone. Looks like Ivory.
