.......I've been invited by a friend to a New Year's Party. Actually,
a Vietnamese New Year's Party, where New Year's is celebrated somewhere in mid-February on their calendar. I will be in the midst of TONS of Vietnamese festival food, potluck style. And throngs of lovely Vietnamese women. I don't know which to devote my time to. eek! |

Everyone should check and see there are any Tet festivals in your area. There were Vietnamese arts and crafts, plants, beauty contests, martial arts, and most of all - delicious food. If you are going to someone's home, offer a fruit basket to the host (candied fruit is good, too) and buy some red envelopes so you can give cash to the children. You will have to let us know all about it. Becca |
