Olives, of course. As many as you can cram on a long toothpick.

IMO Bombay Sapphire is too good to ruin with olives.

Difficult question. I use olives about 1/3 of the time, a
twist the remainder. I'm not a fan of Sapphire, but either
Beefeater or Plymouth is a good olive gin. Pricier gin
I tend to use a twist.

Laugh! Olives are appetizers on a stick. Some places don't put them
*in* the gin, they just lay them across the glass. Something for
everyone.

This brings me to a tangent. Sometime in the past 12 months,
bartenders have seemed to un-learn the fact that if you
order a vodka up, you most definitely do NOT want vermouth
in it. Gack! I always have them remake it but even
one sip is offputting.

I love olives and I like the idea of them placed across the glass. I
don't even use ice cubes with Bombay. It's a sinful pleasure.

I had a friend years ago that had an atomizer bottle filled with vermouth.
He would barely spritz the gin with it.

Me, I prefer a more traditional 5:1 ratio with Tanqueray No. 10 or Boodles
mixed with Noilly Prat.
