![]() Heated up some leftover rib roast in a gravy made with onions and pan drippings. Served that with some leftover yellow gold potatoes, greens and black eyed peas. Rest of greens and peas are in the freezer waiting for another cold rainy day. http://i43.tinypic.com/k6edd.jpg mmmm koko -- There is no love more sincere than the love of food George Bernard Shaw www.kokoscorner.typepad.com updated 12/31 |

It must have been a cold rainy day all over the world last night, and musgovian delight was on the menu!! http://tinyurl.com/8zjgwj Admittedly, the steak wasn't musgovian, but the veges/ham were. -- Peter Lucas Brisbane Australia Life is a walk of death. Each day we walk hand in hand with death, and nothing can guarantee our living one more day. Treat every breath as the last, every heart beat, every moonrise, and every smile. For who can say they won't be... Ride the Wind's, and where ever they take you, make it better, that is the way of the warrior. |

I make an effort for the SO, because she works so hard :-) She *loved* the fritters....... so I must make an effort to try and remember what I put in them/how I made them!! -- Peter Lucas Brisbane Australia "The joys of the table belong equally to all ages, conditions, countries and times; they mix with all other pleasures, and remain the last to console us for their loss." One of my favorite way of using up leftovers is to wrap them up in a
tortilla. I had some leftover steamed shrimp from New Year's Eve and some leftover chile rellanos from my boys' birthday dinner at the Mexican restaurant. I reheated both and served them with flour tortillas, tartar sauce, jalapeno peppers, salsa, shredded cheese, and refried beans (also leftover from the birthday dinner). We had mix and match, make your own, taco night. Tara |
