Default Happy National Spaghetti Day

The 2009 Road Food calendar names January 4th National Spaghetti Day.
We had ours with a tomato meat sauce.

Unfortunately we failed to observe National Cream Puff Day last
Friday.

From my 'Gourmet Retailer' magazine (which I haven't received yet
this month):

January is . . . Book Month, Bread Machine Baking Month, Diet Month,
Egg Month, National Candy Month, National Hot Tea Month, National
Meat Month, National Oatmeal Month, National Soup Month and National
Wheat Bread Month.

Meat Month? Mmmmmm. Meat.

Hm.

Maybe I'll get out a package of Shiritaki and make some marinara out of
a can of tomato paste...

Or am I too late?

You're OK. I've declared today a make-up day. And tomorrow is a
make-up day for whoever missed that other one.

work with it. ;-d

I got it for D. They were selling calendars on their Web site last
month, but I didn't see them last time I checked there. Must have
sold out. The photos are really nice -- I think Michael Stern takes
them. January's picture is a huge pastrami sandwich. This probably
because January 14th is National Hot Pastrami Sandwich Day.
