From my 'Gourmet Retailer' magazine (which I haven't received yet this month): January is . . . Book Month, Bread Machine Baking Month, Diet Month, Egg Month, National Candy Month, National Hot Tea Month, National Meat Month, National Oatmeal Month, National Soup Month and National Wheat Bread Month. Meat Month? Mmmmmm. Meat. -sw |

Must have sold out. The photos are really nice -- I think Michael Stern takes them. January's picture is a huge pastrami sandwich. This probably because January 14th is National Hot Pastrami Sandwich Day. -- modom ambitious when it comes to fiddling with meat |
