First there was a recipe for "Tunnel Of Fudge Cake" and now there is evidence of "Marlboro Man sandwiches". That little stretch of *** bars on (or that used to be on) P Street there was SO seedy, rather incongruous because Embassy Row and fancy hotels are mere steps away. -- Best Greg |

Avenue...mere STEPS from the sleezy P St. action...and overlooking the Turkish Embassy complex...also had a nice rooftop pool. Also stayed at the older Carlyle Suites Hotel just north of Dupont...fun little piano bar and steps away from 17th St. scene... -- Best Greg |

![]() > >What a fabulous blog! I have it bookmarked and yesterday I spent at >least 2 hours there, Loved her photography, Ironically, I spent a few hours there too. Even after the three or so hours, I still enjoy just sitting here thinking about Matteo and his sandwich. Needless to say, my mouth was watering as it does anytime I see something I really want to eat. Mark |
