Are light, dark spots (not deep) on red potato skin bad to eat?
I'd prefer not to peel the skin but after removing the deep spots, I ended up peelign when I saw too many light spots. What are those? |

If you mean faintly dark spots, just signs the potato is starting to wilt. Harmless til the whole thing gets bad. I cut them out because taste suffers. |

After I bought it, I got too busy and was eating out. > Harmless til the whole thing gets bad. > *I cut them out because taste > suffers. I figured that it wouldn't tastethe same. I bought quite a bit (for one person) and I cooked 3 today with beef. I should cook the rest soon. Thansk for the info. |
