I'm a bit miffed. Not Scots, but I expectede there would
be a *few* reicpes posted IHO (in honor of) Mr. Burns. The weather suggests Cock-a-leekie or Scots broth with barley. Here in the States, haggis is a non-starter. Suggestions? Alex, trying to figure what he will do with the overage of the roast LOL (Leg of Lamb). Shepherd's Pie, perhaps. Alex, out of Laphroig, but flush with Glenfiddich. But it's Sunday in Texas, and he didn't plan. Bother! |

Electricscotland.com has many authentic recipes. Interestingly, there is still time to celebrate Burns' 250th birthday. The only requirement is that it be observed *around* his birthday, so a few days either way from the 25th is still authentic. |
