Default What to do with brazil nuts?

I have quite a bit of raw shelled brazil nuts in the freezer. I want
to use them to make something at Christmas - maybe for gifts? Any
ideas?

They are very good in fruitcakes. You can also chop them into big pieces
(thirds, maybe) and use them in just about any recipe where you would use
macadamia nuts.

Best regards,

MMmmmmm..... I'd chop them and add them to chocolate plops.
White, dark, and milk chocolate, mixed together in a can with some
shortbread cookies makes a wonderful Christmas gift. :-) My mom used
to make a good fruitcake, but it's become so much of a joke now that
few people will actually eat the stuff. Unfortunately. Made right,
they are good sliced and toasted and buttered! Mom made them in a
bread pan so this could be done.

I used to have a humorous fruitcake recipe that makes the internet
rounds every Christmas, but it must be on the backup disk from my old
computer. :-) My sister did not load everything into this one when she
installed it for me... If I can find it, I'll share it.

They are my preferred nut for making pesto.
I seldom use pine nuts, especially after having
a very bad food reaction. The only new foods
I had tried that day were some cheap Chinese
pine nuts and some American-made Vietnamese-style
chili sauce. Honestly, I think it was the chili sauce,
but you know how easily people can develop aversions
to foods when they get sick.
