Hello All!

I bought two sets of Gladware interlocking bowls which I thought would
be good for freezing small portions of food. They are fine for that
purpose apart from one thing, the snap-on lids become brittle at
freezer temperatures and tend to break if dropped or you pull on the
lift-off tab. The ones with a screw-on lid seem better.

The lids are also a pain in the neck to separate if they get stuck
together.

These are pretty much only good for taking food away from your home
(i.e., lunch at work), or giving food away to someone.

Otherwise, I pine for a tupperware set like my mother has, or even a
rubbermaid container universe.

I sent more or less the same message to the company. They apologised and
say they are sending me a coupon usable on my next purchase of Gladware.
Possibly, their manufacturing facilities will be informed of the low
temperature problem.
