There actually is no way. You can paste in something that looks like
one, but GG will wreck the signature separator by removing the trailing
space.

Unless you are constrained to use GG because of firewalls or the like,
there are better solutions.

That depends on what you use to read your newsgroups.
I use Firefox. And must still set up my signature, thanks for reminding me.

why would you want a .sig anyway? even if you come up with something fresh
(which is difficult), after the fifth or sixth time it's seen it's no
longer something fresh.
