I read an Anthony Bourdain interview recently where he said that when he
was younger, he was a hard drinking, dope smoking hell raiser. Now he has
a family and a career, he doesn't 'do' public drunkeness or illegal
substances because A) everyone has a camera, and 2 mins after something
happens, it's all over the Internet, and B) he doesn't want his kids to
look at it and say "Well, dad does it, so it's OK for me to do it."

He won my admiration for that. Now all he has to do is give up smoking!!
:-)

Do you see the correlation between A) and B)???

Probably not, so I'll point it out for you.

Kids look up to their "hero's" and do what they do, say what they say,
etc, etc.

Have you got grandkids about the age of 12+??

Would you like them to take up smoking dope because 'their hero Phelps
does it'?

Wow, what would he do without the admiration of a deadbeat welfare cheater.
Oh but you don't smoke...like that makes up for the miserable **** that you
are!
