No doubt his contract has a moralities clause. All he had to do
was keep his nose clean. In this day and age, anyone with a
camera can take your picture, he was a fool for thinking it
wouldn't get out. I don't feel sorry for him, it stinks but it's not
like he'll be broke any time soon. He's poorer and maybe a
little wiser.

Fair comment. He *should* have exercised more caution.

No they don't look tight asses, and who cares if they did? They look
like BUSINESS MEN, nothing more, nothing less. Why should we get all
warm and fuzzy wanting second chances when they had a legal contract,
not an emotional agreement. For that kinda money I can keep my nose clean
if required by mutually agreed contract to. Or I know I'm gonna suffer
the consequences.
I'm only buying cereal from them, not their philosophy on life.

and they were paying him to put his picture on cereal boxes, not to
indenture himself to their philosophy of life.

but yes, there was a contract and phelps no doubt broke it. i think it
makes them both look stupid.

No, but I have kids. If they decide to smoke as adults, then that is
their choice. I have a 22 year old that has never even tried it...

Like it said in the SNL skit: "sure you can smoke pot - after *you*
win 12 gold medals.
