That's because you make a meal out of breakfast.

If breakfast is a snack and you save up your hunger all day, the evening
blow out becomes an out-of-this-world experience.

It's all down hill from breakfast unless I go out. Not going out tonight.
Oatmeal for supper and something lemon for lunch. Pandora's just down the
road, but she hasn't offered anything.

Hamburger for breakfast? Whatever floats your boat, but for me, nothing
says breakfast like scrambled eggs (with ketchup), a few strips of
bacon, home fried potatoes and buttered rye toast, with a large glass of
orange or tomato juice to was it down.

Stan,

Good evening!

I actually just bought a bottle of Heinz ketchup the other day. Don't know
what I'll use it for but certainly not on scrambled eggs! ICK!

Same here, Add a cup of tea. Sometimes I'll make a scrambled egg sandwich
with mayo on the bottom of the roll, ketchup on the top.

You don't know what you'll use your bottle of Heinz Ketchup for? Let me
suggest a few ideas ....

Of course, there's the popular things such as hamburgers, french fries,
steak sandwiches, steak, baked potatoes, omelets, chicken sandwiches,
meatloaf, chili, etc. Heinz Ketchup also makes a good dipping sauce for
potato chips and some people like to put it on their pizza, although I
am not one of them. Heinz Ketchup is also great as an ingredient in
cocktail sauce, french and russian salad dressings. The possibilities on
ways to use Heinz Ketchup are practically endless!

Mornin' Stan!

All good ideas except... baked potatoes and omelets!?!

A house without Heinz ketchup is an empty house.

Plus, it looks great standing next to a squeeze bottle of Gulden's mustard.

Best,

Andy

Here's one which seems unlikely, but turns out to be pretty darn good in the
middle of the night:

Omu-rice (serves 4)

1/2 lb. chicken breast
1 onion
1 green peppers
4 white mushrooms
4 tbsps ketchup
salt and pepper to season
1 tbsp vegetable oil
4 eggs
4 cups steamed Japanese rice
PREPARATION:

Dice chicken, green pepper, mushrooms, and onion. Heat vegetable oil in a
frying pan and saute diced chicken. Add diced onion, mushrooms, and green
pepper in the frying pan and saute together. Add steamed Japanese rice in
the pan and mix well. Sprinkle some salt and pepper. Stop the heat and add
ketchup and mix well. Heat another frying pan and put some vegetable oil.
Whisk an egg in a bowl and pour the egg in the frying pan. Quickly spread
the egg in the frying pan and make a thin, large, and round omelet. Place
chicken rice in the middle of the omelet and fold top and bottom sides of
omelet over the chicken rice. Cover the frying pan with a plate and turn
them over to place the omu-rice in the plate. Repeat step 7-11 to make four
plates of omu-rice. Put some ketchup on top of each.

I'll eat anything for breakfast but I do often crave the
traditional "bacon and eggs" type of breakfast. I like my
eggs over easy with toast (white not rye) to dip in the
yolks. Also hash browns or home fries (with ketchup!). I'll
take the orange juice (freshly squeezed, please). And of course
some nice thick-sliced bacon, cooked soft. (Don't like my bacon
crisp.)

Okay, now you've (and I've) made me hungry, damn it! Nothing
to eat until dinner! :-(

Milk, actually. No matter what I have for breakfast, milk is almost
always
present.

6am today: Cheerios, walnuts, banana, milk
8am yesterday: potato pancakes, bacon, glass of fresh-squeezed OJ,
glass of milk
7am Saturday: oatmeal, raisins, walnuts, butter, brown sugar. And a
glass of milk.
