Your favorite "It's freezing outside" food?

I'm not too different. A beef dish from stroganoff to stew to beef and
barley soup or chicken and dumplings come to mind for me.

Spaghetti or lasagna. When we have family from all over the country
come to ski in a rented condo, that's always one dinner meal for us all.
In addition we usually have chili, beef stew, a ham with scalloped
potatoes, and something like curried-chicken and rice.
