Interesting responses in this thread. I've been away for a few days and can't read all of them. I think pot should be legal but since it's not, what he did was as stupid as when Jenna Bush got busted for using a fake ID to get a drink when she was underage. How either of them though they could get away with it is amazing. I could care less about Kelloggs products or what they do with the people they sponsor. But it's their choice to do whatever they want. He's a competitor and I'm sure he'll do just fine. Maybe he can take over for Ben Stein as spokesman for Clear Eyes. I saw on the tube last night that the Miss America that tested positive for coke is now doing a reality show at a detox in the UK as a counselor. So you never know what lies in the future for Phelps. I really doubt boycotting Kelloggs will have much effect on them. Lou |
