Default Cold weather lunch

It wouldn't seem cold to many of you, but at about 40° C it feels crunchy to
me.

For the first time in months I made tagliatelle for myself and my ailing
neighbors.

Here's the photo:

LOL! I was thinking you must REALLY like it warm. 40C would about
kill me.

If it helps, it's only 19F here.

That photo as well as several other posts of yours I've enjoyed here
certainly give to a wish that I could be your neighbor! Except for
the weather, as I could never enjoy other than my dry and most often
95 degree plus climate. Thanks for giving me encouragement for a
great weekend dinner idea, Giusi.

Thanks and you are welcome. These are things I am not so eager to eat
myself in summer heat, but that's when most of my clients come and they want
to try it all. All summer long I cook braises, pastas, risotto, roasts etc.
in kitchens with no A/C and temps in the low hundreds.
So go for it. There's never really a bad time for fresh tagliatelle. And
this sauce took less than 5 minutes.

It looks heavenly. Pasta, sun-dried tomatoes, finely grated cheese...
anything else?

Nope. Pancetta, chillies, cherry tomatoes and oil. Grated parmigiano
reggiano all on freshly made tagliatelle.

If you are intimating that the food and the photo are not mine but
professionally shot, then I am going to quote this post and dip it in GOLD
for my kid. I get no respect for my photos, but she gave me a cute tripod
for Christmas and now I am accused of stealing one! Wow!

It really didn't look like pork and beans....actually it looked like
there were a couple of human teeth lying in the food. Was that a jaw
bone?

It's lemon pork and pappadums, and I hadn't thought of using human teeth in
it but will take it under advisement.

My kid says if she'd known all I needed was a tripod to be a pro she'd have
done it years ago.

If she says she made it, why would you question a poster's integrity?
And unless you are the original photographer who knows it's not the
poster's photo, why would you notice or care?

Thank you, koko! Mr. Bill just made my day, although I think that wasn't
what he had in mind.

All my macro shots were shaky until eg bought me this little tripod. It's
almost love!

Naaa, he thought he could get me all upset and protesting, but instead he
made me really happy! Poor Mr. Bill.

By coincidence, my Valentine's Day menu includes angel-hair pasta with
sun-dried tomatoes, basil, pine nuts, and olive oil. The parmigiano reggiano
will be on the chicken Milanese.

Critique? You have the guts to critique a picture when you post nothing
but crap?
