It wouldn't seem cold to many of you, but at about 40° C it feels crunchy to
me. For the first time in months I made tagliatelle for myself and my ailing neighbors. Here's the photo: http://www.judithgreenwood.com/think...a-giuditta.jpg |

That photo as well as several other posts of yours I've enjoyed here certainly give to a wish that I could be your neighbor! Except for the weather, as I could never enjoy other than my dry and most often 95 degree plus climate. Thanks for giving me encouragement for a great weekend dinner idea, Giusi. ....Picky |

Thanks for giving me encouragement for a great weekend dinner idea, Giusi. ....Picky Thanks and you are welcome. These are things I am not so eager to eat myself in summer heat, but that's when most of my clients come and they want to try it all. All summer long I cook braises, pastas, risotto, roasts etc. in kitchens with no A/C and temps in the low hundreds. So go for it. There's never really a bad time for fresh tagliatelle. And this sauce took less than 5 minutes. http://www.judithgreenwood.com/thinkonit/ |

I get no respect for my photos, but she gave me a cute tripod for Christmas and now I am accused of stealing one! Wow! |

My kid says if she'd known all I needed was a tripod to be a pro she'd have done it years ago. |

Mr. Bill just made my day, although I think that wasn't what he had in mind. All my macro shots were shaky until eg bought me this little tripod. It's almost love! |

By coincidence, my Valentine's Day menu includes angel-hair pasta with sun-dried tomatoes, basil, pine nuts, and olive oil. The parmigiano reggiano will be on the chicken Milanese. Bob |
