You definitely have my sympathies: When I was still living in Indianapolis,
I got robbed at gunpoint 3 times. Once by a guy who appeared to be white,
once by a guy who appeared to be Hispanic, and once by a guy who was black.
(He's the one who actually held the gun to my head.) Sucks, doesn't it?

It was a couple years before I stopped getting nervous around *any* guys -
especially anyone wearing a hoodie or otherwise covering his face.

Glad you're okay, though.

What Steve is somewhat referring to is "urban life is wearing"...

I see the assorted jamokes of which he speaks, plus in my hood (north side
of Chicago) it also gets really bad in the summer with all the obnoxious
sports fan on the street attending Chicago Cubs baseball games at Wrigley
Field, drunk and puking and fighting and stuff. I don't know why anyone
would willingly move to "charming Wrigleyville"...or near any other sports
venue for that matter.

Yes, and even worse, in terms of savagery and brutality. It disgusts me when
people use crime as an excuse to indulge racism.

Me too. Raleigh is pretty suburban sprawlish, but still urban enough and the
smallest city I have lived in. I have friends in the worst sections of
larger cities like NY and Baltimore and other places. (Goes with the
historic preservation thing, etc.) The hundreds of thousands of decent
people of color would not appreciate being lumped in with the very thugs who
make their lives as miserable as they make the lives of white people. It's
horseshit.

Come on, Steve. You know that announcing that the fact that you were the
victim of one or more attempted or otherwise robberies had turned you into a
"newborn racist" would get reactions. That's why you said it, right? Or are
you really this big a moron? The people suffering most from black thugs are
decent black folks. They don't deserve your hatred, the thugs do.

Nope, I never said that. He's always been steve, and that's what I continue
to call him. Unless eh admits persoanlly that he is the same person as
steve was, and he changed his name to Sam for whatever reason. BTW it wasnt
him who did that, it was dan.

Sadly enough, the proper English usage is "those people" and not "that
man", unless he was robbed by the same person both times, in which case
I'm sure he would have mentioned it.

I think he's trying to say that Steve changed his name to Sam, but
it wasn't really Steve int he first place, it was Dan.

OK. Now, who the **** is "Dan"? We have a Don, but no Dan that
I've noticed.

That's a good point. Cyberslut (and Blake) just assumed they were
black. Why would a non-racist assume they were black?

Who said anything about black people or 'people of color'?

Why did you assume they were black? Seems as if you assumed they

A mob Laundromat? What do you do, dump a piullowcase full of money
into the machine and 25 minutes later you pull out drugs, guns, and
Cuban cigars?

You're right! It makes perfect sense for a white guy to say a robbery had
made him a "newborn racist" when it was a white guy who robbed him. Or tried
to.

Just shut the hell up, Steve. Sometime that is the best damage control.
Black, brown, yellow, they were people of color or you would not have said
what you said. Asshole.

There are way more Mexicans in Texas. Why didn't you assume they

All you have to do is stop saying stupid things. Wait, maybe that's not such
a small task.

No assault, attempted robbery, whatever, by any kind of person justified
your asinine "newborn racist" comment. You were perfectly set in your
victimhood and insisted on flooring it all the way to offensive asshole
again.

You know, all this whining, crying and carrying on you do here, you're

well, there can be overlap between the two, but 'gifted' isn't an attribute

Jerry will tell you he's gifted. Every year he is gifted with a dozen

don't be dense, dan. what i meant was perfectly clear.

what i'm talking about harks back many years. when someone saw a man being
an idiotic driver, they said 'that man is an idiot.' when a woman did the
same thing, they said 'women are idiots.'

surely you can see the difference.
