With "sorta" French toasted English muffins with Lotus Blossom honey, if I
only had some!

A repeat of Saturday's brekky he more of my suboptimal first
attempt at a LC blueberry buckle. Not awful, just not good.

This morning I had a cheese steak omelet with onions, served with
salsa. It was good, but your make-believe breakfast sounds so much
better. :-P

Not make believe. Just an innovation o' mine. Take a large egg, 1 teaspoon
of fat-free milk and 1 teaspoon of Grand Marnier, stir. Split an English
muffin, one-side toast then place split sides up on a sheet pan. Pour egg
mixture equally into muffins. Broil til set and bubbly. Serve with fake
butter. Enjoy!

Celebrating the Krewe of Bacchus this morning with Scrambled Eggs and
and Andouille sausage, benigets and coffee. ..and a couple of
slices of King Cake.

Supper will be Chicken and Smoked-Sausage Gumbo, etc. and watching
the parade on the webcam at 530PM. Wish that we could have been
there this year. Maybe next.??

Oh! I wish I had THAT breakfast! It sounds wonderful--as does
your supper. (You remind me that I haven't done a gumbo for a
LONG time.)

I use Tony Chachare's (sp) or Zataran's (sp) creole seasoning with
Kraft Mayo to taste. Thin with lemon juice to desired thickness.

Oh, that sounds nice and tasty. For now I am sticking to my low carb
diet, but when I fall off the wagon, this is first on my list.

Napkins? Who uses napkins? What do you think
sleeves were invented for?
