This was what prompted the "Holy crap. That does it." http://i41.tinypic.com/fu1kqg.jpg It was after I'd seen all of this. How many clear glass bowls does one person need. http://i42.tinypic.com/30ib61u.jpg Now, pots and pans I understand but these were only what was visible. http://i41.tinypic.com/3132mhc.jpg Then there was... http://i39.tinypic.com/a58ava.jpg http://i42.tinypic.com/20kzxh5.jpg http://i44.tinypic.com/nnny8m.jpg http://i40.tinypic.com/24lpk55.jpg http://i41.tinypic.com/28a3o15.jpg http://i43.tinypic.com/292weiw.jpg And this is only part of it. I didn't add the food cupboard photos. I love Christine's kitchen. It's a large workable, lovable, warm inviting space. Her whole home is inviting and comfortable. Ahh, save your money. One more set of things to buy, store, and so on. And what happens when you accidently put one on or near a hot burner? Gimme my ancient Pyrex and Fireking handled cups. I DID see a neat measuring shot glass for a buck at my local booze emporium - might be good for small liquid measuring. |

Silicone won't survive direct flame. Pyrex needs to have heat applied evenly or it may shatter. But Pyrex makes many pieces of glass ovenware, also laboratory glassware. Pyrex glass bakeware will survive temperatures well in excess of 1,000º F, in fact your kitchen stove will self destruct itself first. |
