Default Square Root Day 3/3/09

I like the idea of people celebrating by eating root vegetables cut
into squares, though that might be easier if there were a Cube Root
Day. Hmm. Flat, 2-D beets.

I have a friend who celebrates "Pi Day" (3/14) by bringing a pie or 2
to work! I think I may do that this year, even tho I have a couple of
co-workers that wouldn't get it!

.....y = r cubed over 3. And if you determine the rate of change in this
curve correctly. Derivative dy = 3 r squared dr over 3, or r squared
dr, or r dr r.

NEVER pizza!! We have a serious superstition in our trauma unit that
pizza=night from hell. We NEVER ever order pizza. Its just not done.
Calzones are allowed though. It doesn't make sense exactly but that's
just the way it is.

I put that on my Facebook page.

My daughter celebrates Pi day. She brought a pie into work last year.
Somebody had to explain it to me.

How about March 27, 2009? Wouldn't that be combined square/cubed root
day? ( 3.27.9 )

Interesting. In my dating system Pi Day does not exist.

Maybe if you'd bake a pie you'd get more dates.

My husband's birthday is 06-06-66, but I'm pretty sure he's not the

I thought pi went to infinity, but I'm not a mathematician - so what
do I know?
