I'm looking for a site or sites that you can enter ingredients you have
on hand and it will give you recipes. I tried cooking by numbers . com, but
it seems to be invalid. I know there was talk about it a while
back...tia....Sharon in Canada

I think allrecipes.com has an ingredient search like that. Recipes
might be hit-or-miss though,just as a warning.

Epicurious.com also has a similar ingredients search, go to "advanced
search" link.

Good luck,

biig,

www.allrecipes.com

You can search recipes for ingredients you want AND those you don't.

TIP: Even though there are only four search lines, you can gang up multiple
ingredients in each line:

bread AND eggs AND cheese, etc.

You can't input an entire fridge and pantry contents and have it dig up all
conceivable recipes. And the ingredients are not memorized on the website.

Good luck,

Andy

Try googling BIG food brands: Campbell's Kraft Nestle
Pillsbury McCormick's Or "women's" magazines Family Circle
Women's Day LJH etc. Why don't you try posting your list here?
Sure, you'll get some really strange answers, but if you read the
recipes you can sort 'em out. Some folks here (me) think it's fun to
figure out what you can make without a trip to the store!

PS: You won't believe how fast it can be!
PPS: Where in Canada ?
