Default 3/17 dinner report!

the corned beef i used, was bought at COSTCO and is a vienna beef
product. i cooked in the crock pot on low for about 6hours. at the
very end, i added a cabbage that was cut in quarters. (served when the
cabbage turned a bright spring green)
it was great!

THANKS for the suggestion of IRISH SODA BREAD.
i did bake it with all whole wheat/grain flour and it was great. (and
aritifical sweetener drops)
i baked it in the oven in a "pam sprayed" iron skillet. it was great!

you folks inspire me!

and it wasn't too salty? I've learned by experience that unless it is
specifically labeled otherwise, it's best to start off in liquid and
finish off in the oven.
