I enjoyed making the corned beef/cabbage/potatoes thing this last time
around. Enjoyed it as much as I normally enjoy such an undertaking. Seems like lately (aside from that), I just don't feel like it. In fact, I don't even really feel like eating. I get hungry, nothing sounds good. I just hit some sandwich place or a mexican joint. The food is usually alright, and I eat it. This ever happen to y'all? -J |

It's one reason I tend to cook larger portions of things I can freeze, thaw and reheat. For when I don't feel like cooking. I also find when I've been making something like a nice richly seasoned stock, or perhaps pot roast; something fragrant, I don't feel like eating when it's done. I don't sample food as I go along, other than to correct seasonings. But the scent of food cooking sometimes causes me to lose my appetite. Jill |

If you are not enjoying other things you usually enjoy, you might want to consider it. |

There are times I want to cook up a storm and sometimes it sounds like a chore even if I enjoy it. But I hope you aren't just going through a "blue phase". That would explain the not wanting to eat anything. I hope the change of seasons brightens you up. Kris |

However, I don't think that this is the case. I'm otherwise in an unusually good mood throughout the day (which kind of worries me sometimes too, heh). But this particular thing only seems to be related to food. Nothing sounds good, nothing seems worth the effort to make. weird. -J |
