Living to a ripe, old age is overrated anyway, that's what I say.

Wasn't it said once that a low-calorie vegetarian diet wouldn't make you
live longer, it would just seem that way? :-)

(laugh) Exactly. Hey, I love vegetables. I just need my steaks,
etc, too.

Nancy,

As we speak, I am opening a beer and putting steaks (and hamburgers)
on the grill. Its a beautiful day in Sedona, and outdoor grilling
season has just started. I don't think that this information, now on
CNN as well, has anything whatsoever to do with trying to convert us
all to vegetarians. I think it has more to do with finding the right
mix of steaks/burgers and veggies. I am absolutely terrible at
"grilling" veggies, and my lame attempt at getting the vegetable
element into this dinner tonight is a baked potato.

But I'll make sure and put some easy-to-steam broccoli on the plates
as well.

I second that emotion.
I actually have a special "veggie grill basket" I use on the grill just
for that.

Google shows up lots of hits for it.
