Okey dokey lil' fella.
Here's my actual recipe:

Sloppy Joes

1 lb lean ground beef
tomato paste
water
corn syrup
distilled vinegar
salt
sugar
dried onion
dried red & green bell peppers
chile pepper
tomato fiber
spices
guar gum
xanthan gum
dried garlic
carob bean gum
natural flavors

or:

1 can Manwich
healthy shot of Tabasco

Brown ground beef until no longer pink. Drain. Stir in remaining
ingredients or Manwich and Tabasco. Heat through. Serve on hamburger
buns.

No way to tell.

Of course, *some* of us know how to follow links, and in a matter of
seconds, we know.

So I looked up >". It's an Email address for when you
need an Email address but don't want to give one. Evidently, it passes
the tests for being an Email account, but it really isn't.

Some people, like the poster above, are using it to post junk to this
group. I killfiled this address, but I'm wondering if that was a good
idea. It seems like there might be a couple of legitimate posters using
this address.

The other thing I've noticed is that people are setting up Email
accounts with Gmail, yahoo and hotmail as Spamtraps. They are in fact
legitimate accounts, but the people who own them either don't read them,
or seldom read them.

What are other people doing?

I use yahoo for newsgroups, as opposed to my regular personal e-mail
address. I do read it quite frequently and it does serve the purpose
of staying a little bit incognito. At least for me, yahoo does a pretty
good filtration of spam. I am rich, however, from all the Irish, UK and
Nigerian lotteries I've been told I've won. If you want to share, just
send me $2,000 and we can split.

And I don't know why I even asked, Dan. I really don't care for
Sloppy Joes. Might be a childhood thing....my mother's sloppy joes
were just too loose and they ran down your arms. We only had them at
outdoor picnics and back then....there wasn't anything like Wet Ones.
Mother just gave us a "spit bath" with an old tissue she had concealed
in her bra.

Never mind...didn't mean to take you there...just a flashback to a
childhood memory...or was it mammary?

Uhhh, excuse me there, but manwich's taste delicious. It is the best
example of a sloppy Joe there is and the better tasting then any home-made
sloppy Joe's by far.

The recipe posted by notbob is the best one you will find on the Internet.

Good looking recipe Lynn, but you forgot the commas, so old Curtiss, who
seems slow on the uptake, might not realize that it's one pound each of the
ingredients following the beef.

Enjoy it Curtiss (are you a boy or a girl?). That's the best sloppy joe
recipe you'll get here, and it's sure to give you a nice head start on
cleaning up that mouth of yours..

Remember that joke? Two guys walking down the sidewalk and one of
them notices a pile of dog crap. He stops and says, "That looks like
crap." He scoops a bit up on his finger and sniffs. "Smells like
crap too." Tastes a bit, then says, "Tastes like crap too. Sure am
glad I didn't step in it."

Yeah. Yahoo does a great job filtering spam. Maybe once or twice
every day or two or three one gets through. Same with my gmail. My
only problem with Yahoo is that it takes two steps to get to the
inbox.

I use gmail, so I'll talk about that. gmail has e-mail forwarding. I
forward gmail to my regular account. To be honest I get almost NO
SPAM from gmail. Maybe gmail has great spam filters, or maybe the
spammers don't think I'm worth spamming (LOL). I don't care. I'm
just impressed that spam is as scarce as hen's teeth. If I ever start
getting any appreciable amount of spam, I'll just turn off email
forwarding and let it collect.

I don't know what other people are doing, but I post with my real email
address, and have for ten years, and I have really good spam-killing
software, both at the ISP and mail-client levels, so I don't get all
that much spam.

The funniest thing is that sloppy joe is likely to yield so many hits if

982,000 to be exact (as of a moment ago anyway).

I think the OP can find sufficient recipes with that search. ;-)

It even comes canned from the grocery store. Heat it up, stick it in a
hamburger bun and eat.
