I'm assuming here that you use the expression "kidney bean" as I do, and thus I may be wrong, but candy-sweet kidney beans just don't seem right to me. I'm aware there are a number of sweet bean preparations in Asian and Pacific cuisines, by the way; yet the inclusion of green onion and especially tomato in the dish makes me wonder about all that sugar. -- modom |
