Default Breakfast?

A big bowl of whole wheat spaghetti tossed with a small can of tomato paste,
Pecorino Romano cheese, a couple shakes of garlic powder, a pinch of dried
oregano with TJs meatless meatballs.

You?

Bacon, fried egg, slice of Russian raisin bread from Widoff's Bakery. Lots
of raisins in a dark bread.

Ed,

I haven't had raisin bread in ages. And never Russian raisin bread. Sadder
still, there isn't a bakery for miles that bakes bread that I can find.
ACME's bakery makes a loaf but from the web image it looked pretty stingy on
the raisins.

I found an on-line recipe for Russian raisin bread. Sounds delicious. And I
have a brand new tub of whipped unsalted butter. Dammit!

Best,

Andy

Not hungry yet, got housework to do still.
Will eat some leftover grilled sweetbreads and a big pile of baby
spinach leaves. Bought a fresh bag this morning. :-d

Might steam some eggs, not decided yet. I forgot to buy more this
morning so there are only 4 left.

I need to go make some rice out of that beef rib stock I made a couple
of days ago, then freeze it in portions for dad. He loves rice but is
not eating much right now (but at least he's eating!) so I don't want
stuff to spoil. I'm only offering small portions I know he's willing to
eat.

Coffee, than some coffee, and later maybe some coffee and a piece of toast.

Just when it was looking like Andy was actually having something
appetizing, he has to screw it up with TVP imitation "meatballs."

Two cafe au laits here too. Next, to Del Taco for a couple of green
burritos with extra green sauce. Some of the workers there call me
"Green Sauce."
Nothing but pintos, cheddar and green chile in a flour tortilla.

Now that it's a reasonable hour I'm having a slice of toast and a boiled egg
I thought about making grits, then decided not to.

I love cooking with wine.
Sometimes I even put it in the food.

That's probably for the best!

I won't be making yesterday's pesto tuna salad OR this morning's spaghetti
breakfasts ever again!

Burped pesto tuna most of yesterday. And a repeat performance from this
morning's spaghetti.
