i always thought he was funny. he was great in 'it's a mad, mad, mad, mad
world,' along with every other comedian in the world.

He was on a bunch of early 60's game shows like _What's My Line?_,
_Password_, etc., always hilarious. One of my fave _What's My Line?_
episodes c. 1965 is when he guesses Mystery Guest Bette Davis...around that
time IIRC he had a B'way show entitled _Life Is A Ball_...

No one from even a year ago was PC by today's standards... from even a month
