Default 12" Calphalon Pan

Scroll down and look at the 12" Calphalon pan and tell me if this is a
good deal or not. Anybody have one? Please, somebody stop me!

BTW, did you notice the cheap magazine subscriptions?

I found the same pan on Cutlery and More which is one of my favorite
kitchen stuff sites and they want $99 for it. It's a great deal as far
as I can see.

I like those anodized finish pans. The surface works a lot like cast
iron. If you like to cook with high heat, you should probably stay away
- they will warp. I have sauce pan of this construction and it works
great and looks bitchin', but I've given up on the thick aluminum
anodized frypans. If they came out with a clad construction anodized
pan, well, my life would be pretty much perfect.

It's an excellent pan! DH got me one on sale even cheaper than that,
and I use it to make frittatas and dutch pancakes in the oven.

I have one. It's good for casseroles, but since it's good on both stovetop
and in the oven, it's particularly good for braising and tagines. You can
make paella in it, too.

I paid $40 for mine, so the price shown is a good one.

I couldn't get along without a 12" pan, love my 14" as well. An Everyday
pan is a super way to go -- having one with a lid is a bonus. It makes a
great oven pan as well as stove top. I do roast chicken in mine. I'm
disappointed that it is rated only for 450F and not 500F. Good price.

I just bought one. My computer needs a new sound card, and I was
looking for another item to get me over the $25 threshold for Super
Saver shipping. Pan plus soundcard < $48 with shipping.

I have that pan and love it. I think I bought mine on Amazon.com I
don't remember exactly what I paid for it but this sounds about right.
I think I talked about it here so maybe a google would bring up what I
paid.

Sorry, I can't stop you. BUY IT, BUY IT, BUY IT.
