Tomorrow, 4/27/09, in order to launch it's new line of 'grilled'
chicken......KFC is giving away a free piece of chicken. There supposedly is a specific time, so they want you to go to the website (I think it's KFC.com) and enter your zip and they will tell you the nearest one to you and the times they are giving it away. -ginny |

It just says "Come on in on April 27th - No Coupon Necessary.". They usually will limit the hours though. Especially in places like Oakland, CA ... and Atlanta. -sw |

Gotta read that fine print for all the exceptions (sigh). Sky, who'll try to check it out tomorrow P.S. Thanks for the reminder & heads-up, Ginny -- Ultra Ultimate Kitchen Rule - Use the Timer! I'm ****in' broke but the fridge and the freezers are full. I eat well every day. I don't need much. I figure if I can work and eat on a daily basis, I'm doing ok. TFM® |

That said - I passed 2 KFC's today but didn't stop. Why? Maybe if I was there getting something else, but most people in their right minds aren't going to stop just to get a piece of chicken. Not in Rush Hour, and not any other time. -sw |

In my opinion, El Pollo Loco is one of the finest fast-food chains in existence. The closest one to me is about 35 miles away, though, so I haven't been to one for a very long time. Bob |

My favorite, is a chain of Cuban restaurants in Florida called Pollo Tropical. The best grilled chicken, black beans, yucca w/garlic sauce, fried plantains. When the plane lands in Florida, I rent a car and this is the first place I stop. http://www.pollotropical.com/english/index.htm Becca |
