If so many people did not support breeders of any kind by buying their dogs
there would not be so many puppy mills. It's the assholes who buy the dogs
that make it profitable.

There are hundreds in Iowa and even more in Missouri.

It's not sticking my head in the sand, Andy, it's (1) there's not much
I personally do about it, if anything, and (2) I don't have a dog, and
(3) if I did want a dog, I'd take a shelter dog. I've seen bits and
pieces of editorials on puppy mills before and don't need to see any
more.
