Yes, I don't pretend to be a cofee exepert - just gibeve me the god old breakfast blend - black as as hot as you can get it! I don't even like Columbian by itself; it's got to be blended. Trouble was no cup of coffee I ever brewed tasted like great coffee. Heck, even the diner's brew tasted better than mine. At the cafe, I'd make the best espresso drinks, so the bar for homemade was set pretty high. Funny that a visiting friend complimented my "from beans" fresh brewed coffee. Obviously my taste for coffee went to pasture some time ago. Waking up fires me up every morning! I wake up wide awake and talkative. I've been punched for that. Lately, doing the morning NYT crossword puzzle has been lots of fun. I get a kick out of getting up before the neighborhood does. Kinda/sorta makes me feel like I have the world to myself, for a little while anyway. ![]() Andy -- Eat first, talk later. |

A buddy takes me along to his gun club about once a month to shoot. He has a decent collection of shotguns, pistols and black powder weapons. He brings me along cause I'm comfortable around black powder. Skeet is my favorite. Biggest drawback is my SO is totally freaked by guns and is scared to death to have one in the house. Jon |

French presses come in various sizes. There is one that will make one large or two small cups of coffee. It is as easy as making instant. You just put the coffee in the pot and add almost boiling water, give it a stir and put the top on. Let it sit for a few minutes , then press the filter down and pour the coffee. One note though... use coarse ground coffee. |
