Default Breakfast for a Friday?

Breakfast for a Friday?

Strawberry yogurt
Wgww toast (2) with 1/3 less fat cream cheese
A dozen baby carrots
Viactiv calcium+D caramel soft chew supplement
One-a-Day multivitamin
Tall glass of pink grapefruit juice

Definitely not an across-the-board flavor matched breakfast.

You?

Best,

Andy

I just tried a chocolate beignet--not at all worth the calories
(or carbs).

I work at home on Fridays, which is the only workday I cook anything for
breakfast, otherwise it's usually cold cereal or a pastry picked up on the
way to work. On Fridays I usually cook pinhead oatmeal. Variations/
additions vary from something as simple as a bit of salt and a chunk of
butter to brown or demarara sugar, toasted nuts, and sliced banana or dried
cranberries.

Well, I saw it contained chocolate ganache. That was rather
intriguing. Sniff.

There was very little ganache. Couldn't even taste the chocolate,
it was so overpowered by the dough. Sniff.

BTW, I never mention all of my supplements. I do note that you,
too, take red rice yeast extract....

Refer to "What Fires You Up in a Morning?"?

Can't eat when I first get up - only drink tea and coffee for a few
hours.

Later in the morning - maybe yoghurt with fruit.

Finally found frozen biscuits at one of the three stupidmarkets I
searched. Tried a couple this morning along with the usual coffee and
o.j. Thought they were better -- more rise, flakier -- than the
pop'em tube. Didn't notice the cost. Of course good homemade would
be better but these are better than *my* homemade. Biscuits and pie
crust still elude me, even though my bread is good. Tomorrow I'll do
sausage gravy. With a grapefruit if I find some today. -aem

Wish I had travelled more. I've seen a lot of the U.S. and ate my way
through Mexico, Canada, Spain and Italy.

Need to do more travelling before I'm too old to enjoy it.
