The first thirty-some years of my life were lived w/o avocados. I saw them as green (therefore suspect) and slimy. Since the first time I tried guacamole, under the influence of general anesthesia and beer, I've been avocado crazy. I've never put it on a burger, but it has been right next to a burger on many occasions. Really though, nothing fits on a homemade burger other than mustard, and it's easier to alternate bites with vidalia onions, half sour dill pickles, whatever. Damn. I just realized that I left an avocado at work, and I'm not scheduled to be back there until Thursday. --Bryan |
